Airline Carryon Fees

This is another sign to show why US economy is not going to recover. They know about nothing about running a business

Spirit airlines is charging a carry-on fee for all flights. Tis is not silly, but stupid thoughts! Dont they know what kind of business they are doing? people fly for TRAVEL. regardless of the reasons of traveling, they travel for somewhere else because there is a PHYSICAL NEED that internet cannot serve its purposes. in solving physical needs you have to bring something along right? so how could one avoid the carry-on fee? the idea is stupid in the sense that by forcing people to use the luggage space which they can use on shipping cargoes to earn more money, but instead they wasted in shipping luggages! oops... airlines in US dont ship air parcels...

the bigger problem is raising such fees means the airlines are not raising basic fares but adding unavoidable costs to the tickets. such business model is the same as the one that the investment banks are doing, that they use incomplete information to take extra money from their customers, and if you ask me, that is daytime robbery.

yes american customers can be very stupid at times, but if the country is truly patriotic and has high moral values, why would the corporations cheat against their customers, and especially why would the government and/or regulators will ever allow this to happen? i am OK if you are good enough to cheat and steal my money, but please do not hold double standard against me when i am trying to get my share back
