Lower Speed Limit?

Well apart from inducing more speeding tickets so insurance companies (in USA at least) can increase insurance cost, there are 10 other reasons why a lower speed limit in freeway is a good idea:

1. It gives you more time to admire the ferrari driving around you

2. Eliminate sudden lane switching because everyone is going so slow

3. Improve truck stop business because everyone is driving as slow as a truck

4. Allow drivers to eat burgers, watch youtube movies, tweeting and use GPS at the same time

5. Allow pedestrians to cross the freeway in one piece

6. To provide enough buffer to stop Prius to go too fast

7. Improve relationship between police and drivers

8. Improve effectiveness on banner ads

9. You need more coffee everyday

10. More people will take public transportation because the experience between driving and taking a bus is the same

Seriously, the real danger on a highway is driver driving TOO FRIGGIN SLOW!! The world will be safer and smoother if every freeway works like the Autobahn. Check wiki on Autobahn before arguing with me on this
